I am Marieke (40 years old, Dutch with a business in Belgium), nice to meet you!

When I was desperate in 2024, teetering on the brink of burnout, and freelancing had only one income stream, things had to change. I needed help, and I needed it NOW. I engaged an American agency and paid a fortune to hire a VA from the Philippines.

Shortly after that, Fau (Filipino) came to work for me. Finally, everything fell into place! My business, my operations, and income streams could grow. I finally had peace and space to develop further. And what was so wonderful: a VA from the Philippines is affordable!

In early 2025, my team was able to expand, and I hired two additional VAs. One for developing digital products and marketing materials. One for administrative support. Both fantastic women with the right education, experience, and knowledge. My business grew! I finally had the inspiration and energy to expand further.

I can tell you from experience that finding and screening the right candidate takes a lot of time, work, and effort! You have to know the ropes, you have to know what is required for onboarding, and you have to know the culture!

And once you have found the perfect candidate, that person must also officially receive a contract for services and collaborate with the client through a suitable platform.
